Often we think the phrase, 'a minister',
or 'a servant of the Lord' means someone in the limelight or with
an 'up front' ministry but this was certainly not true of Brenda,
yet she was a true servant.
Nothing to do with the limelight but she was always serving behind the scenes; caring and ensuring that other people were being looked after.
Such people are truly missed and Brenda will be no exception. Not just missed because no one brings me coffee during a seminar break; not just missed because there are no rolls for lunch. She will be missed as much for who she was as what she did.
Servanthood is primarily inward character not just the outward actions. Brenda will be missed for who she was not just because of what she did.
Brenda is now free from pain and walking with her Lord, truly serving for all eternity. Here on earth there is a gap; here on earth there is grief nut we will still rejoice with Brenda for where she is and remember a life of service while she was with us.
